Executives will be presented with a “risk factor” perspective for thinking about how biased behavior might manifest in a police agency either internally (affecting PD personnel) or externally (affecting community members). This perspective will be used to identify how executives can develop and implement safeguards to reduce the risk of biased behavior through messaging, policy, and practice.
Since 2008, Fair and Impartial Policing (FIP), has been the #1 provider of implicit-bias-awareness training for law enforcement professionals in North America. The FIP program is founded on the modern scientific research of bias, which guides the development of all of our courses.
75-minute Classes will be held in a Zoom Virtual Classroom.
