Government Personnel – Non-Supervisory – Online Training
(3 hours, 30 attendees)
This course incorporates training content from FIP’s Government Personnel – Non-Supervisory curriculum and presents it in an engaging online environment. Training modules include a variety of interactive exercises, illustrative case studies that highlight key concepts, opportunities for training participants to reflect on how they might respond in a variety of circumstances, periodic check-ins that reinforce important training concepts, and end-of-module tests to assess participants’ understanding of the information. Participants who complete this course will:
- Understand that even well-intentioned people have biases.
- Understand how implicit biases impact on our perceptions and behaviors.
- Understand that fair and impartial behavior produces effective decision-making.
- Understand the concepts of diversity and inclusion and how they add value to the workplace.
- Implement skills for producing bias-free and inclusive behavior in their professional (and personal) lives.
